Last Wednesday was the 96th anniversary for Woodrow Wilson's 14 points which marked the basis points for axis surrender.

Today is the 69th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge, one of the bloodiest battles fought in WW2. The Battle lasted over a month 16th December 1944 - 25th January 1945.

On the morning of 7 December 1941 the Imperial Japanese Navy attacked the US naval base at Pearl Harbour, which led to the United States entry into World War II.

99 Years ago world was already covered by black clouds of war. Battle of Tannenberg on the East Front and The First Battle of Ypres on the West were finished and the tall of death was rising fast.

However at the time no one expected these dark days will last for another 4 years.

The Munich Agreement was signed on 29th September 1938. This was the agreement between the Allies and Axis powers which allowed Germany to annex the German speaking parts of Czechoslovakia, "Sudetenland".

The Liberation of Paris took place between 19 August and 25 August 1944. On the day the German garrison surrendered, Charles de Gaulle made a his famous steps.

During the First World War, British soldier Henry Tadey showed mercy upon a young German enemy. The man he let live would go on to become modern-history's cruelest monster.

For most 25th April 2013 is just like any normal day, but for Australian and New Zealander's it is the 98th ANZAC Day- an annivesary of the Australian and New Zealand identity was born.

ANZAC Day is fast approaching- the 25th April is around only four weeks away. As with every year, thousands of Australians and New Zealanders with cross land and sea to pay their respects to the ANZAC troops in various different locations around Europe.
