1944 was a busy year for allied airborne forces operations. To advance with success on the western front seaborne landings had to be supported by paratroopers. However not all troopers could be trained into paratroopers. People need equipment, supplies and heavy machinery to advance during assults. One of the most popular tools during these days used to shift people and equipment was military troops and cargo glider AS-51 Horsa.
